How cheap is Unreserved? Pricing the five winners on Cardmarket

Unreserved stays inexpensive by avoiding the Reserved List and embracing modern reprints. I priced the five winning decks from Valencia using Cardmarket’s Shopping Wizard.

Method

  • Marketplace: Cardmarket Shopping Wizard. Sellers in Europe. Ship to Spain.
  • Language and condition: English only, at least Excellent. Any edition. Foil or non-foil allowed.
  • Scope: full 75 per deck (maindeck plus sideboard). Basic lands included. Tokens excluded.
  • Prices shown are card costs only (“Articles Value”). Shipping excluded because tiny orders inflate it.
  • Price date: 21 Oct 2025.

Prices if you buy each winner separately (upper bounds)

Sum of the five separate runs (cards only): €942.58. Treat this as an upper bound.

What you actually need to buy once

Building a single shared card pool that can assemble any of the five winners requires 271 cards. The Shopping Wizard prices that pool at €714.78 (cards only). That is €227.80 less than buying each list in isolation.

Why the drop:

  1. Card overlap. Shared cards are bought once.
  2. Larger want lists make the Wizard more efficient, consolidating sellers and improving unit prices.

Note: the combined Wizard run estimated €132.22 shipping across 42 shipments. This figure is not added here because the Wizard overstates shipping on small, fragmented baskets. Real shipping falls when you place fewer, larger orders.

Where the money concentrates

Two unreprinted anchors drive a large share of spend:

  • Parallax Wave and Parallax Tide: €262 for a playset of each (eight cards total). That is about 37% of the full shared pool. These are not on the Reserved List and currently cost well above any modern-frame fetch land. Reprints are likely and should push prices down.
  • In the Zombies winner, Rotlung Reanimator is the most expensive single card and is also a credible reprint target.

Takeaways

  • Most Unreserved winners sit well under €200 for a full seventy-five when priced alone.
  • The realistic way to buy in is a shared pool at €714.78, not the €942.58 upper bound.
  • A third of today’s pool cost sits in eight unreprinted cards that are not protected by the Reserved List. Reprints should lower the barrier further.
