Three weeks after the sixth Unreserved event on 16 November, the format returned once more to Gremio de Dragones on 7 December for its seventh tournament. Nine players played four Swiss rounds with no elimination stage.
Unreserved is our local custom format built from Old Frame sets from Mercadian Masques to Scourge plus Seventh Edition. The card pool has no Reserved List cards at all and offers a compact Old Frame environment where most players are still experimenting. The metagame is not solved and there is usually more interest in enjoying decks that are not viable in more established formats than in playing the single most efficient strategy.
Final standings
1st: Fernando Ros
Fernando won with a Zombies deck, the same archetype that already carried him to first place in the fifth Unreserved tournament.

2nd: José María Toledo

3rd: Alwerto Choco

4th: Jou Biden

5th: Vedast Sanxis

6th: Édgar Badenes

7th: Luis Sevilla

8th: Armin Tamzarian

9th: Javi Orts

Prizes
First place came with a very on-theme reward. Fernando received a Flametongue Kavu miniature, painted by fellow participant José María Toledo. Flametongue Kavu is a familiar presence in Unreserved, so having it appear on the prize table in miniature form felt very appropriate for the format.

In addition, two altered Tempest Counterspell copies, painted by Armin Tamzarian, were raffled among the players as extra prizes.

Looking ahead
With seven tournaments completed, Unreserved at Gremio de Dragones already has its own identity, a growing history of events and a pool of regular players. The plan is to keep scheduling new dates so that local players can continue to bring their favourite Old Frame decks, try new ideas, and compete for more themed prizes in future Unreserved tournaments.
