Second Unreserved Tournament – Valencia, June 28 2025

Nine brave players returned to Gremio de Dragones on Friday 28 June for the second outing of the Unreserved format. With the card pool still fresh and unexplored, innovation was the word of the day. Four Swiss rounds later, a brand-new champion emerged and several new archetypes made their mark.

🌀 A Metagame in Motion

Eight different archetypes showed up across nine decks. The only repeat was UG Madness, fielded in two distinct builds, proving that even early on, some strategies are worth revisiting. Everything else, BW Control, The Rock, the inventive Phantidestic combo, UG Threshold, Zombies, Zombie Rift, and UW Control, stood alone, highlighting just how wide-open Unreserved remains after only two events. Expect rapid evolution as players discover what Old Frame staples can do when there’s no Reserved List to dominate the field.

Our next gathering is already scheduled for Sunday 6 July, once again at Gremio de Dragones. The event will feature Swiss rounds followed by a Top 7.2 playoff.
