II Liga Madrileña Old Frame – Day 3

It took some time, I know, but here is the coverage of the Day 3 of the II Liga Madrileña Old Frame, which took place on May 13th, 2023 at Tempest Store, Madrid, Spain.

Nine daring participants gathered for an exhilarating showdown in the Old Frame Vintage format. Though we missed the mark by just one player on our way to make ten or more three times in a row, the excitement and spirit were undeniable. The diversity of decks on display was mind-blowing, with each player selecting a unique and powerful archetype to wield.

The prize of becoming the third recipient of the custom MTG Old Frame League winner playmat motivated everyone to put their best strategies to the test. As if that wasn’t enough, the alluring rewards included two packs and a coveted playset of signed Swords to Plowshares.

Day 3 of the II Liga Madrileña Old Frame

Day 3 of the II Liga Madrileña Old Frame was an intense battle of wits and skill, where a star shone brightly. Rogelio de los Ríos dominated the competition with a jaw-dropping 4-0 finish, taking home the crown with his formidable Stiflenought deck.

The grand finale came in the last round of the day, where Rogelio‘s Stiflenought clashed with the prowess of Raúl Torres and his The Deck. As is tradition, the electrifying match was streamed live on the tournament’s YouTube Channel, and the viewers were in for a treat. The thrilling duel showcased the essence of Old Frame Vintage, leaving spectators on the edge of their seats.

Raúl gave it his all, but ultimately, it was Rogelio who emerged victorious, securing his rightful place atop the leaderboard and etching his name in the books.
